Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) – a major forerunner in the digitalization of the banking sector in Bangladesh chose Kaspersky Lab as their end-point IT security partner. In a 3-year term a tri-party agreement was signed recently among the bank, Tushuka Technotrade Limited– the enterprise partner executing the contract, and Officextracts – the distributor for Kaspersky Lab in Bangladesh and Bhutan. DBBL opted for Kaspersky Lab enterprise solutions for end-point security of the Bank's entire IT system.
DBBL is the first joint venture bank in Bangladesh and also the first to be fully automated in the country, while Moscow based Kaspersky Lab ranks among the top IT security software vendors in the world. With more than 400 million users globally, Kaspersky Lab today is the world's fastest growing AV software company. In Bangladesh, Kaspersky is a popular brand name holding the no.1 position in the IT security sector.
This is the first of its kind enterprise select agreement between a bank and a security software solution brand in Bangladesh.
